Recently while cruising Pinterest for dinner ideas I randomly came across this nifty little cheese cracker recipe. I plugged it into my search bubble and voila….tons of this recipe came up. Who knew? Pinterest amazes me more each and every day. You really can find anything on the internet (and in Pinterest.) Most of the recipes were repeats of the one before it so I followed and am posting just the basic recipe here for you as well. Next time though, I think I’m going to “play” with them a bit and add some extra herbs and spices to see what we can come up with.
For this recipe you will need:
1 pack Sargento (TM) Ultra-thin Cheese (any flavor)
Preheat oven to 250 degs and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut each slice into 4 quarters and lay on baking sheet. Bake for 35 minutes. Allow to cool and crunch away!
These are super duper simple to make and wonderfully delicious! They make for a terrific and healthy after-school snack for the kids or pair with some fruit and summer sausage/salami and a glass of wine for your own snack.
**If you find they are too greasy (depending on which cheese you select) lay your baked chips on paper towels to whisk away the extra grease.
